Bill Legend

Bill Legend is the drummer and only surviving member of the world famous rock band T REX  Bill is interviewed about his rock n roll years and the difference Jesus has made to his life. Bill normally comes with his band, who perform some old T REX favourites as well as modern worship songs. Alternatively Bill can come with an interviewer and play with your own worship band.

During his period with T.Rex, Bill performed all over the world and played on all the major hit records including "GET IT ON", "CHILDREN OF THE REVOLUTION" and "20th CENTURY BOY" . 

T.Rex are still featured regularly on all major radio stations and many T.Rex hits have been used for TV adverts during the last 15 years.

T.Rex featured heavily in the film "BILLY ELLIOT".  The recent  DVD titled "BORN TO BOOGIE" features T Rex in concert at Wembley (filmed by Beatle Ringo Starr during 1973) and which sold over 100,000 copies within the first 6 months of its release in 2006. Bill also contributed an interview within the DVD where he speaks about his faith.

T.Rex, and their front-man Marc Bolaan (who was killed in a car crash in 1977) still have a huge fan base in this country and abroad. Various fan clubs hold annual events attended by a full age range. Bill has his own official website which receives a constant stream of e-mails from old and new fans ranging from 16-60 year olds from all over the world.

Bill's Interview, where he gives an honest appraisal of his faith, is accompanied by plenty of photo's (shown using powerpoint) which depicts his life story, the beginnings of his Christian Faith, his time with T.Rex , and the contribution he now makes within his own church.

Bill's association with one of the biggest named bands of the 70's makes this an ideal evening to invite guests who might not otherwise attend a church event.
