John GaughanJohn Gaughan

At the age of 19 John was singing with the top stars of the 60's. A member of "Herman's Hermits" and songwriter for "The Drifters", John's success did not bring him satisfaction. He turned to alcohol as an attempt to cover up a gnawing sense of emptiness. He soon found himself in a crazy situation, overtaken by alcoholism and living in a miserable haze. John accepted Jesus as Lord and friend, and was set free from his addictions. John leads an evening of secular and gospel songs and tells his story of how God rescued him from Alcohol.
