Cindy Kent MBE

Cindy is a well known broadcaster/presenter with numerous radio and TV credits to her name.

Cindy started her career in the 1960's as a member of the UK's leading pop-folk group "THE SETTLERS" until they disbanded in 1974.

Cindy then went on to develop a high profile career in broadcasting for THE BBC (in local and national radio, )  LBC London; HTV Wales; Radio HALLAM (Sheffield) CAPITAL Radio and BBC RADIO 1.

In 1995 Cindy joined PREMIER radio as Features/News Editor and then took over as the presenter for their daily Drivetime programme.

In 2007 Cindy became an ordained priest in the Church of England, initially as curate but then later as Priest-In-Charge at St John the Apostle Church in Whetstone.

 Cindy semi-retired in 2016 but still continues as a freelance presenter working across the UK.

Cindy is available for your Church event, either to share her life story to both Ladies and mixed events, or as a presenter/master of ceremonies for your Church event or local or national festival.
