Peter Lupson

Peter Lupson is the author of the acclaimed books "Thank God for Football" about the church origins of famous English football clubs and "In God's Company" about Christian giants of business who established world-famous companies. Both books have been the subject of TV documentaries shown worldwide.

Thank God For Football

"THANK GOD FOR FOOTBALL" tracks the church origins of 12 famous English football clubs such as Aston Villa, Everton, Liverpool, Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur. The book has received outstanding reviews while the TV documentary based on it, written and presented by Peter, was shortlisted for an award at a major international Film Festival in the U.S.A. On the strength of the book Peter was invited to speak to the All-Party Parliamentary Football Group in the House of Lords about faith and football.

"IN GOD'S COMPANY" tells the remarkable stories of seven exceptional Christian entrepreneurs who established world-famous companies. Among them are William Colgate, Thomas Cook and Henry Heinz. This book, too, has received outstanding reviews. All the stories have been serialised on Trans World Radio UK and UCB radio while the Thomas Cook and William Hartley stories have recently been filmed and shown on TV worldwide.

For many years a Chief Examiner for GCE Advanced Level German, Peter is also the author of a number of successful German text books. In football, he has been a youth scout for a Premiership Club and is Honorary Vice-President of a semi-professional club in Wales.

Peter takes an evening talking about how people in his books reached out to others with the love of God. He also shares his personal testimony and runs a question and answer session on his faith or any matter to do with football or business.
